Using the WIFI router in room E310

Room E310 has a small wifi router with 4 wired ethernet slot. It can be used to connect wirelessly to devices, such as the Hololenses.

The wifi network

The router should is configured to create an "hcilab" wifi network, with password "12345678". This network is not routed to the internet, it only allows devices on the wifi network to communicate with each other and to devices connected on the ethernet port of the router.

The router provides basic DHCP services to give IP addresses to devices. Computers connected to either the wifi of the ethernet slots received an address in the form 192.168.1.x. Two static IP addresses are reserved for the Hololenses:

Managing the router

connect to http://192.168.1.1, login "admin" password "123456". Please don't change the parameters that are mentioned above. You may want to add reserved addresses to your devices.
